Warnings: CONTAINS PARACETAMOL. Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Do not give or take Maxigesic PE®:

if you have a stomach ulcer.

if you are allergic to paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines.

during the last 3 months of pregnancy

with other products containing paracetamol or ibuprofen

with other medicines intended to treat the symptoms of the common cold except on the advice of a healthcare professional

Unless a doctor has told you to, do not use:

with other medicines you are taking regularly

if you have asthma

for more than a few days at a time

if you have kidney problems or impaired renal function

if trying to become pregnant, or during the first 6 months of pregnancy

if you are aged 65 years or over

If you think you may have given/taken too much paracetamol, or an overdose ring the Poisons Information Centre on 0800 764 766 or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well. The damaging effect on the liver can take time your body to notice.

Store below 30 °C.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 or 2 tablets every four to six hours when required, no more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. Adults: Do not take this medicine for longer than a few days at a time unless advised by a healthcare professional. Adolescents: Do not take this medicine for longer than 48 hours at a time unless advised by a healthcare professional. Do not use in children under 12 years old. Do not exceed the maximum stated dose.
